Parents of LGBTQ+ children often feel isolated and ill-equipped. We can connect you with other parents for support and equip you to love your child well. In this mentor-led group setting, you’ll discuss faith, grief, purpose, and other topics that you navigate as a parent of an LGBTQ+ child.
This group meets the first Tuesday of the month and no sign up is required. Please email the group leader for exact group meeting location.

Yoko is a single mom of an adult transgender son and an autistic son. She currently works for Leander ISD as a Special Education Instructional Assistant. She has been attending Northpoint for 5 years. Her passion is with women’s ministry and bridging the gap between the church and the LGBTQ+ community. Her ministry opportunities include serving as the Women’s Leadership Cohort Director, a women’s coach, and serving on the leadership team for Women Connect conferences. She started leading Parent Connect in the Fall of 2021 focusing on helping parents find community and comfort in loving God and their LGBTQ+ child.
