First Step

First Step

In the midst of all that is changing at home with a new family, we invite parents to take a moment to focus on what really matters most by participating in our new Child Dedication program, First Step.

First Step is more than an event. It is an opportunity for parents to take some time at the beginning of their journey as parents to really think about what will matter the most in the life of their child—to decide what they value and what they can do today that will have the greatest impact on their child’s future. First Step is about parents’ commitment to lead their child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ so that as he/she gets older, they are equipped to guide and to help understand what that means.

This is a chance for you to invite your family and friends (cause we all know that it takes a village) to participate in intentionally pre-deciding and committing to how you want to raise your kids regarding your family values and habits. Because this is doing intentional work as parents, part of the requirement to participate in the event on April 20 is that you have to attend one of 3 meetups happening at Northpoint on March 2, 23, and April 13, and childcare will be provided. At these meetups, you will be given a road map for developing the values and habits you bring to the event on April 20.

How do I get started or find out more? We’ll be updating you, but first you’ll want to attend a First Step Meetup. Check out the details and RSVP here for a meetup.
