How (Not) to Read the Bible

A group experience designed to help you navigate and make sense of the more difficult and sometimes disturbing passages of the Bible.

What is the How (Not) to Read the Bible Group?

How should we approach the Bible? What do we do with the passages of the Bible that are difficult for us to understand? Well, what if reading the Bible doesn't have to be as complicated as it's sometimes made out to be? In this eight-week group, we’ll explore the Bible together. We’ll unpack passages that are difficult or confusing in a conversational setting. And we’ll discuss ways that we can approach the Bible to help us better understand it in today’s world and in our own lives.

Who is this group for?

Whether you’re a follower of Jesus, searching for answers, or someone exploring the Bible for the first time, this group experience is your guide to understanding and contextualizing passages in the Bible that seem to be backward on a variety of topics.
