God chose Moses to lead His people, the Israelites, out of slavery in Egypt. At first, Moses didn’t think he could do it, but God promised to help him. Moses went to Pharaoh and told him, “Let my people go!” Pharaoh said no, so God sent 10 big plagues to show His power. Finally, Pharaoh let them go. When the Israelites reached the Red Sea, Pharaoh changed his mind and chased them! But God made a path through the sea, and the Israelites walked on dry ground. When the Egyptians tried to follow, the sea closed up, and God kept His people safe.
